What is iThenticate?

iThenticate provides professional plagiarism detection for scholars and researchers. Users upload their documents within the service to scan against a wide database to ensure plagiarism has not happened. After the scan has completed, users receive a report that details the problems so the user can fix his/her paper. iThenticate runs the paper against millions of webpages, journal articles, conference papers, books chapters, periodicals, magazines, encyclopedias, and thousands of scientific, technical, medical published works. Developed by Turnitin, the service ensures originality in academic work.
